Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the web game "Worst Block" (the "Service") provided by C.U. Lab ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Application of These Terms

These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

The Service is provided as a browser-based game.

You are responsible for providing, at your own expense, the device, internet connection, and other equipment necessary to use the Service.

Certain data may be stored locally in your browser. Such data may be lost if browser data is deleted, the device is changed, or due to other circumstances.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:

  • violating applicable laws or public order and morals;
  • infringing the rights of us or any third party;
  • unauthorized access to, alteration of, or other misuse of the Service;
  • interfering with the operation of the Service;
  • placing an excessive load on servers or other systems;
  • using the feedback feature to send spam, harassment, or other inappropriate content; or
  • engaging in any other conduct that we reasonably determine to be inappropriate for the operation of the Service.

4. Feedback

You may voluntarily submit opinions, requests, and other feedback regarding the Service.

You must not submit feedback that infringes the rights of third parties or contains personal information, confidential information, or other information that should not be submitted.

We may use submitted opinions and suggestions free of charge for improving the Service and for future development.

We do not guarantee that we will respond to or adopt any submitted feedback.

5. Developer Support

The Service accepts optional financial support for the developer through Stripe.

Support is entirely optional, and whether or not you provide support does not affect the basic conditions for using the Service.

No in-game rewards, products, or other services are provided in exchange for support.

Payments related to developer support are processed through Stripe.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

As a general rule, completed support payments cannot be canceled or refunded for reasons attributable to the user.

However, this does not apply in cases of duplicate payments, unauthorized use, where a refund is required by applicable law, or where we otherwise determine that a refund is appropriate.

For questions regarding developer support, please contact culab.official@outlook.jp.

7. Intellectual Property

Rights relating to text, images, designs, programs, logos, and other content included in the Service belong to us or to third parties that hold legitimate rights.

Except as permitted by applicable law, you may not use such content without permission from the relevant rights holder.

8. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation of the Service

We may change the contents of the Service, temporarily suspend the Service, or discontinue the Service when necessary.

We may suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice in the event of maintenance, system failures, security issues, interruptions of third-party services, or other unavoidable circumstances.

When making significant changes or discontinuing the Service, we will provide notice through the Service where reasonably possible.

9. No Guarantee of the Service

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, that it will be free from defects, that it will meet any particular purpose of a user, or that data stored in the user's browser will be retained permanently.

The Service relies on third-party services including Stripe and Supabase. Failures, specification changes, or discontinuation of such services may cause parts of the Service to become unavailable.

10. Support by Minors

If a minor provides financial support to the developer, the minor must obtain the consent of their legal representative before doing so.

11. User Information

The handling of user information is governed by our separate Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service changes, applicable laws change, or when otherwise necessary.

Material changes will be announced through the Service in an appropriate manner.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and the Service are governed by the laws of Japan.
